I highly recommend Beth’s PowerBirth course. As first time parents, it educated my husband and I on what happens during birth and how to navigate the many twists and turns of labour. The course empowered me to have a natural physiological birth, but also equipped me with a solid understanding of possible interventions and why they might be recommended so that I could make informed choices during labour. It also helped my husband to be a strong support and advocate for my birth preferences. I used Beth’s affirmations and meditations - ‘embrace the pain’ and ‘every contraction is bringing me closer to my baby’ throughout labour to get me through multiple crises of confidence!

So glad my partner and I did this course. It was informative, empowering, human and evidence-based. I particularly appreciated how inclusive the content was, with Beth and the team not pushing opinions but providing us the information we need to eventually make the decisions that are right for us and our situation.
